“It isn’t what they say about you, it’s what they whisper.”
Errol Flynn
Errol Flynn had an memorable presence both on and off the screen that induced a great deal to be both said and whispered about him. He conveyed a dashing and cavalier attitude toward life, seemingly unable to remain serious for any great length of time.
Flynn, who was so successful in the action/adventure roles for which he is most associated with, felt trapped by the stereotype his characters created in the early part of his career. His options were few as a Warner Brothers contract player, and as long as the studio made money with Flynn playing these roles, these would be the roles in which he would be cast.
As a young man Errol Flynn developed a contempt for the restrained and conservative life of his father, a distinguished marine biologist, and his mother. This contempt led to Flynn running away from his home in Tasmania, surviving through an assortment of odd jobs and petty crime.
Moving to New Guinea he worked as a plantation manager, a hunter, a gold miner, and as captain of a coastal sailing ship. He was also tried for murder after having killed a native who was part of a raiding party that attacked a jungle camp where he worked.
Settling down to start a tobacco plantation, Flynn received a telegraph from a small-time film maker he had met during his travels. He was offered a chance to appear in a film titled “In the Wake of the Bounty.” The film preceded “Mutiny on the Bounty” by two years and provided Errol Flynn with his movie debut.
With little money, Flynn financed a trip to England from Australia by smuggling a few diamonds to cover expenses and found work as an actor with the Northampton Repertory Company.
It was here that Flynn was first seen by a scout for Warner Brothers. He received his first Hollywood part, appearing as a corpse, in “The Case of the Curious Bride.” It wasn’t long after that when Warner Brothers decided to take a chance on two virtually unknowns to star in “Captain Blood.” The unknowns were Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland.
The pair were wildly successful together in this film and again in 1937′s classic “The Adventures of Robin Hood.” During the filming of “Captain Blood,” co-star Olivia de Havilland developed a crush on her leading man. Flynn, at the time, was married to French actress Lili Damita. A union best described as more of a lengthy conflict than a marriage, as Flynn was beginning to put a great deal more time and effort into his off-screen escapades.
These escapades were the start of the great Flynn romantic legend which peaked with his trial for statutory rape. The trial, along with Flynn’s reputation as a lothario, coin the phrase “In like Flynn” which meant “assured of success” when referencing his hypnotic effect on women.
Errol Flynn’s favorite film role was as boxer “Gentleman” Jim Corbett in 1942′s “Gentleman Jim.” Shortly after this film Flynn’s popularity began to fade and his lifestyle of partying and lavish spending habits were causing both health and financial problems. He attempted to produce his own films, but was unsuccessful, and with a continuing decline in his health, suffered a mild heart attack.
Retired, drifting, and seemingly washed-up, the late 1950′s would bring Flynn a rebirth as a character actor of significant skill. This skill was demonstrated with his work in 1957′s “The Sun Also Rises,” and 1958′s “The Roots of Heaven.”
The youthful rebellious Errol Flynn, whose roles were an extension of his own life, had now begun to play his mature self – an aging, somewhat alcoholic, character whose dauntless gallantry was now tempered with the feeling of a man who has now become acutely aware of his own mortality.
Errol Flynn died in 1960 as a result of a heart attack shortly after having composed his own epitaph: “I want to be taken seriously…I allow myself to be understood abroad as a colorful fragment in a drab world.”

time sheet template
A common complaint among small business owners is the failure of employees to complete their time sheets. The employees typically have a strong start but fail to their enter time for the entire week. This can be frustrating for the business owner who has to use valuable time playing catch up with the employees while they try to complete these time sheets so the employee can be paid on time.
Educate, Reward, and Consequence Model
Consequence – If you are having similar issues, you must first generate a plan to see why this problem is happening. Do your employees realize the importance of completely filling out their time sheets and consequences of not doing this? Do you have consequences for incomplete time entry?
Establish and communicate consequences for delayed or incomplete time entry. Make sure these consequences are included in the employee handbook or company intranet for reference.
Educate – Once you understand why the problem is happening, you can educate the employees on the proper time completion procedure. Once they are educated and aware of the consequences, you can jumpstart reward part of this model.
Survey your employees to see why they are turning in the time sheets late. Use the surveys to develop a plan to educate them the importance of on time completion and the consequences of incomplete time sheets.
Reward – Create a weekly game or contest around this time sheet completion learning process for all employees. Draw names each week from a pool of people who correctly entered their timesheets correctly. I’ve seen prizes range from a half day off to a gift certificate for dinner at a fancy local restaurant.
Sounds childish, but this works. This technique re-trains the employees during this contest or trial period so that when this phase was over, they will continue to enter their time properly.

The Promenade…a collection of pubs, champagne bar, coffee shop, boutiques, and popular food franchises (Ben and Jerry’s and Johnny Rockets) in a street setting that makes this one of the most enjoyable and unique experiences on the ship. There were also nightly parades consisting of costumed entertainers and dancers.
And then there’s the Ice Skating rink with ice shows! I had never been to an ice show…I only saw them on TV. However, to be up so close, you can experience the grace and power of these incredible athletes… but get there early, at least 45 minutes early, for a good seat.
For entertainment, the Savoy Theatre was spacious, very comfortable, had great sight lines, and consisted of an impressive musical production (Music from the 80′s) with equally impressive performances from the singers/dancers (one of the two female singers could have won American Idol!) and a very talented comedian/singer/impersonator.
The dining room was elegant, the menu first-rate, and the service was excellent. The buffet was considerable and included daily, a number of ethic choices including Mexican, Indian, and Asian cuisine.
The fitness center was roomy and included all of the latest cardio and weight training machines. However, bring your iPod because the TV’s were too small to see from across the room and there was no audio input jack. Needless to say, one still could work out and enjoy ocean views from nearly any direction.
The pool deck of course had a pool, a number of Jacuzzis, and an abundance of lounge chairs. The music and pool bars kept the excitement at a high level all of the time. Although I’m no longer a jogger, there was also a jogging track on the highest deck.
The room we stayed in was an inside cabin. However, it overlooked the Promenade, which gave you the feeling of apartment living… looking out onto a busy, exciting neighborhood. Room service offered a much more extensive menu than I experienced on other cruise lines. The bed was very comfortable and there was a mini-fridge, but no flat screen HD TV yet.
Last, don’t forget to enjoy the 24 hour soft-serve yogurt machine on the pool deck!

How to Get the Best Kitchenaid Mixer Prices
To find the best Kitchenaid mixer prices, traditional methods of search may not work as well because of how general your search is. The best approach is going to be using comparison sites.
Don’t get me wrong using traditional perk modifiers (terms like “free shipping”, “coupon”, “rebate”, etc… after you type in Kitchenaid Mixer) in your search works, but it’s hard to know when you see a good deal like that. Even if it is a good deal, it may not be in the price range you want while another model may be.
When you use comparison shopping sites, you can often find several different mixers to look at simultaneously, and their price ranges. After you’ve picked a model, you can drill down further and compare prices again.
To find these simply type in Kitchenaid mixer comparison into your favorite search engine.
The only drawback is that this does take a few minutes to sort through.

allergic to personal lubricants
With the development of personal lubricants, couples are given a chance to spice up their lovemaking. Because of this, lubricants are now one of the best-selling sexual products in the United States.
There are however, several points to remember about the properties of a personal lubricant, to ensure that it will bring greater sexual pleasure.
1. Several types of lubricants may be suitable only for particular settings. For instance, while water-based lubricants are perfect for people with sensitivities, but will easily dissolve in water. Thus, it is not compatible for trysts in the bathtubs or swimming pools. On the other hand, silicone will hold up under water, but can dissolve the surface of silicone-based toys and condoms pre-lubricated with silicone.
2. Some lubricants may contain substances such as paraben and propylene glycol which have been marked as harmful by the US Food and Drug Authority. Paraben, also called hydroxybenzoate, is generally used as a preservative of formulas, while propylene is valued for its anti-freeze and cooling properties. These substances may cause irritation to the eyes, skin and the upper respiratory tract. In addition, fragrances and dyes may trigger allergic reactions.
3. A lubricant is not a birth control product. While some brands are observed to have spermicidal effects, lubes should not be used as an alternative to contraceptives. For preventing unwanted pregnancies or sexually-transmitted diseases, condoms must be used along with the lubricant.
When used properly, personal lubricants can truly lead to greater sexual gratification. As a result, one enhances not only his sex life, but also form a deeper and stronger relationship with his partner.

LIGHTSIDE
Wives will outsmart you every time. I told my wife “50 years ago we had a cheap suite, no car, a black and white TV, but I got to sleep every night with a hot 23 year old gal. Now I have a million dollar home, a $80,000.00 car, plasma screen TV, but I am sleeping with a 65 year old woman”.
My wife is a very reasonable woman. She told me to go out and find a 23 year old hot gal and she would make sure that I once again would be living in a cheap suite, no car, sleep on a sofa bed, and watch the news on a 10 inch black and white TV.
THE USES OF FOOD
To build new tissues (muscle-tissue, bone tissue, and nerve tissue, to repair those issues that are worn out.
To furnish the body with energy for work and play. (Heat is a form of energy).
To regulate the body processes; to keep the body in good working order.
To promote the growth and to keep the body healthy.
BASE FORMING, ACID-FORMING FOODS.
Besides grouping our foods under the headings of six foodstuffs, we classify them as base forming and acid forming. These terms do not refer to the taste of food but rather to the use of foods in the body. Foods are acid-forming or base forming according to the ash that is left after they are digested and utilized by the body. The body needs both types of foods so that one counteracts the other, preserving neutrality that is essential for health.
Base-forming foods are milk, milk-products, fruits, and vegetables, except prunes, plums, cranberries and corn.
Acid-forming foods are meat, fish, egg, grains, prunes, plums, cranberries, and corn.
VEGAN
Vegan: A person that chooses a lifestyle that aims to eliminate the use of products obtained from animals for food, clothing or any other reason. This means that they don’t eat any meat, fish, dairy products or eggs. They also avoid products that are tested on animals and do not wear fur, wool or leather.
A vegan’s diet includes foods such as: beans, lentils, nuts, seeds, soya products (for protein), whole grains, vegetables, fruits and healthy oils.
People choose to become vegan for various reasons, the most popular include -
-Ethical views concerning animal rights
-Concern for the environment
-To improve personal health
VEGGIE BURGERS
You want to try veggie burgers; they are great imitations of the real thing. Many companies now make them in a variety of tastes and styles. Some mimic meat; others are intentionally grain like. All are lower in calories and fat than a conventional burger and higher in fibre. Many have a respectable amount of protein, too. Their weakness is sodium: The rated burgers have 250 to 500 milligrams. (The recommended daily limit is 2,300 milligrams)
BUGER VEGGIE, Calories 110, Fat (4g), Protein (10g), Sodium 360(mg).
BEEF VEGGIE, Calories 177, Protein 17(g), Fat 11(g), Sodium 360.
WATER
A variety of emergency situations, from floods to earthquakes to toxic spills, could contaminate the local water supply and leave you without access to water. As a result, it’s important to know how to safely store and treat water of uncertain purity during an emergency.
The best way to treat water is often a combination of methods, as boiling and disinfection will kill most microorganisms but only distillation will remove other contaminants. Boiling is the safest method of treating water. Keep water at a boil for 10 minutes for maximum effectiveness.
Disinfection with regular household liquid bleach can also kill microorganisms. Use only liquid bleach that contains 5.25 percent sodium hypochlorite as the active ingredient. DO NOT USE scented bleaches, colour-safe bleaches or bleaches with added cleaners.
Add one to two drops of bleach per litre of clear water. Stir and let stand for 30 minutes. If the water does not have a slight bleach odour, repeat the dosage and let stand another 15 minutes.
Distillation involves boiling water and then collecting the vapour that condenses back to water.
RESPONSIBLE DRINKING
If you have teenagers, or in fact any adult, impress on them the
risks of driving while intoxicated. Statistics demonstrate drunk
drivers cause many fatal road accidents.
It should be known that like any other drug, addiction is a
potential hazard. Excess of alcohol will affect organs such as the brain, heart, and liver.
NON- ALCOHOLIC DRINKS
ORGEAT FIZZ
1 ½ ounces orgeat syrup
½ ounce limejuice
Club Soda
Shake orgeat and lime juice with ice cubes. Strain into fizz
Glass. Add ice cubes. Add soda to glass. Serve with straws.
TEA PUNCH
3 cups brewed strong black tea
1 quart orange juice
1-cup lime or lemon juice
2 cups raspberry syrup
1 cup crushed pineapple
bar sugar to taste
2 quarts club soda
Pour all ingredients except soda over a large block of ice in a punch bowl. Stir well. Let it chill. At serving time, add chilled soda.

RESPONSIBLE DRINKING

erotic fiction
Romance novels have dominated the fiction market for many years. A great deal of the genre’s appeal is due to its mutability. Trends surface and swell in the romance fiction industry with some regularity, ensuring a wide variety of storylines and settings.
Graphic sex in romance is the latest “hot” trend. Readers want to see through an open bedroom door to gain a broader picture of how the hero and heroine interact with each other. The term “erotic romance” describes a graphic level that is very distinct, but due to a tendency by readers and writers to interchange “erotic romance” with “erotica” and detractors’ usage of the words “porn” and “soft porn” it has become a confusing morass. The definition of these terms is often debated, but here is a basic breakdown:
Porn: stories written for the express purpose of causing sexual titillation. Plot, character development, and romance are not primary to these stories. They are designed to sexually arouse the reader and nothing else.
Erotica: stories written about the sexual journey of the characters and how this impacts them as individuals. Emotion and character growth are important facets of a true erotic story. However, erotica is not designed to show the development of a romantic relationship, although it’s not prohibited if the author chooses to explore romance. Happily Ever Afters are not an intrinsic part of erotica, though they can be included. If they are included, they aren’t the focus. The focus remains on the individual characters’ journeys, not the progression of the romance.
Erotic Romance: stories written about the development of a romantic relationship through sexual interaction. The sex is an inherent part of the story, character growth, and relationship development, and it couldn’t be removed without damaging the storyline. Happily Ever After is a requirement to be an erotic romance.
Sexy Romance: stories written about the development of a romantic relationship that just happen to have more explicit sex. The sex is not an inherent part of the story, character growth, or relationship development, and could easily be removed or “toned down” without damaging the storyline. Happily Ever After is a requirement as this is basically a standard romance with hotter sex.
I hope you can see how distinct these stories are and how the “label” applied to them isn’t interchangeable. It’s my hope that the erotic romance genre will continue to grow and thrive. As it does, perhaps the distinctions between genres will become clearer and more readers will get exactly what they’re looking for in a “hot” romance.

tumbling instructor classes
Finding the perfect dance class for your child can be frustrating at times, especially if your child is very young.
Most children ages 3-5 have very short attention spans and are too immature for a one-subject class such as ballet or tap. When children are put into these serious subject classes where there are very strict techniques to learn, they often become bored, which leads to disruption in the class. These children often have bad experiences with dance class and unfortunately never return to any dance class ever again.
When observing a variety of dance classes for your young child to participate in, you should choose a class with a lot of variety. The kind of class you should look for is a one-hour class split up time-wise with various learning activities so your child is learning and doesn’t have time to get bored. For example, the dance class should be segmented into sections such as pre-ballet, tap, eurhythmics, some tumbling activities and creative work. The following are some examples:
1. Pre-ballet: This is fun and prepares the child for future more advanced techniques by learning very basic skills that will be carried through advancement. Children will learn how to make a circle and how to make the circle small and large. They will also learn how to keep the circle round while walking around in the circle. The next step will be to learn how to change the direction several times when the teacher calls. The same thing is done again. The only thing different is that the children are running gracefully on their tiptoes with their arms out. This is a great for warming up the children’s bodies and teaching them direction-change coordination.
There should be some stretching involved. Children should sit down and do some creative stretching. A good dance instructor will create some stretches while pretending to eat ice cream and do arm movements called Porte bras while pretending to be flowers, sun and moon, etc. Children also learn basic plies and tendus, but at this young age there is not great pressure to keep perfect posture.
Some other activities in pre-ballet that children enjoy are learning to skip forward, backward, in one big circle and with partners. They learn to jump facing front and back as well as jumping in a circle right and left, 4 counts to each side. They also learn to chase’ in counts of 8 changing directions from right to left.
2. Tap: Children usually stand in a straight line and learn very basic steps and sounds. Basic steps learned are toe step, heel step, hit step, side toe step, 3 toes step all alternated right and left. These steps are done in one place. The traveling step is toe-heel forward and backward. Slow shuffles, shuffle step, shuffle hop step and shuffle ball-change, in order of difficulty.
3. Eurhythmics: This is done with rhythm sticks. Children learn to count to 4 and 8 while hitting the sticks together. Counts 4 and 8 are dancers’ magic numbers. Children especially enjoy marching around the room while hitting their sticks together to the beat of the music. Further advancement includes learning waltz time.
4. Creative Movement: Examples of this would be pretending to be puppies where children would get down on their hands and feet like a puppy and walk around the room. Another example would be pretending to be a horse and have the music start at a slow pace and speed up into a fast gallop. The alligator move is a good move and also the most difficult where the children lie on the floor on their stomachs and use only their arms to drag their bodies across the floor. This is done to very slow music. All of these moves help to develop a child’s muscles and motor skills.
A dance studio in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania has a favorite they call the butterfly kit. As the teacher hands out hand-made antennas and wings, the class talks about how butterflies become butterflies. Then the teacher asks each child to tell the class the colors that are on his or her antenna. This process gives the children a time to rest, as well as giving them some constructive talk time. The children and teacher then stand at one end of the dance studio and as the music starts they do caterpillar walks until the music changes. The change of the music signals them to spin their cocoons. When the music gets slower, the class pretends to get tired and eventually they fall asleep on the floor. The final change in the music signals them to wake up, take their wings and they are now butterflies happily fluttering around in the sky.
5. Tumbling: The tumbling section is very basic starting with log rolls down the mats on each side. Once the children master the log roll, they move on to forward rolls and backward rolls. Children also love to walk on balance beams that are very close to the floor, which is great for establishing balancing skill and coordination.
All of the ideas mentioned here are only some of the activities children will learn in a class of this nature. Children will not get bored, have fun, learn and without realizing it, develop many motor and coordination skills. There is much more that a good creative teacher can include. The activities will be more difficult for 5 year olds than for 3 year olds. These are just the basics.
